Welcome to our FAQ page! Here, we’ve compiled answers to some of the most common questions we receive about staying at Birch Haven Campground. If you don’t find the answer you’re looking for, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly.

Reservations and Check-In

Q: Do I need to make a reservation?

A: Yes, we require reservations to ensure we have a spot available for you. You can make a reservation by contacting us through our website, email, or by phone.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

A: For cancellations, please notify us at least 48 hours before your scheduled arrival to receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will result in a charge of one night’s stay.

Q: What time is check-in and check-out?

A: Check-in is available from 2 PM, and we kindly ask that you check out by 11 AM on your departure day to allow us to prepare the site for the next guests.


Q: What types of camping spots do you offer?

A: We offer a variety of camping spots including RV sites with 30 and 50 AMP electrical hookups, large wooded sites for privacy, and lakefront sites for stunning views.

Q: Do you offer spots for tenting?

A: We do not offer spots for tenting.

Q: Are pets allowed at the campground?

A: Yes, pets are welcome at Birch Haven Campground! We ask that pets be kept on a leash at all times and that you clean up after them.

Amenities and Facilities

Q: Do you have Wi-Fi?

A: Yes, we offer free Wi-Fi at select locations throughout the campground. Please note that connectivity can vary depending on your location within the campground.

Q: What facilities are available at the campground?

A: Our facilities include modern restrooms and showers, a new laundry facility, picnic tables, fire pits, a swimming area, docking and boat launch facilities, and more.


Q: What activities are available at or near the campground?

A: We offer a variety of activities including kayaking, canoeing, fishing, hiking, biking, and access to ATV trails. Our campground also features a large commercial playground and ball field.

Q: Do you offer any organized events or activities?

A: Yes, we host several organized events throughout the season, including a Fourth of July festival with fireworks and live bands. Please check our website or contact us for more information on upcoming events.


Q: Is firewood available for purchase?

A: Yes, we sell firewood at the campground. Please do not bring outside firewood to prevent the spread of invasive insects.

Q: Are there grocery stores or restaurants nearby?

A: Yes, there are several grocery stores and restaurants within a short driving distance of the campground. Our staff is happy to provide recommendations.
